I’m so excited!

After overthinking my wardrobe choices, I zipped up my suitcase and headed out the door.

Relaxation and a few days of zero responsibility were right around the corner.

Rarely do I take the time to drop it all for play and rest. There's always something I could be doing.

Hello, endless to-do list. Why aren't you EVER DONE? 🤷‍♀️

To sum it up, I had an amazing time connecting with new friends. Oh, and I didn't wear half the things I packed. So much for all that overthinking.

I LOVE retreats. However, it's not always easy to get away.

Enter the 90-minute Mini-Retreat!

Along with my friend and therapist, Leslie Slemmons, we are co-hosting a mini-retreat. And we're holding it RIGHT HERE on Hilton Head Island at Jiva Yoga Center on Sunday, June 30th, from 2:00-3:30.

We're so excited to share our love for all things that calm your nervous system and leave you feeling rested, rooted, and restored. There will be:

  • gentle yoga movements for all levels and body types - seriously, everyone can do this

  • mindfulness meditation - because if you're already in savasana, why not seize the moment

  • live drumming - think gentle and soothing, not a driving beat with flashing lights and glow sticks

  • a time for reflection - you can share with the group or self-reflect; this is your time to do you

Here's the link so you can read more about our mini-retreat and SIGN UP.

If you're in the area, we'd LOVE to meet you.

Stay Curious,

Sheila

Sheila Tucker is a licensed marriage and family therapist and founder of Heart Mind & Soul Counseling. She empowers clients who overthink, worry, and experience their fair share of anxiety to become more rooted in peace, ease, and confidence. When not in the office, you'll find her walking her pups or planning her next mountain getaway with her husband.

P.S. If you like what you’re reading and you want more, you’re in luck. I have an email list. By subscribing, you’ll know when a blog goes live instead of checking back on repeat.

You’ll also receive strategies and skills to manage anxiety and relationship issues. And I’ll let you know when I’m holding workshops and retreats.

I promise no spam.

Only witty words to inspire, entertain, and educate so you can begin to experience a greater sense of well-being…from the comforts of…wherever you are.

Oh, and you can unsubscribe anytime, so there’s absolutely no downside.
